SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FL – (July 22, 2008) – Costa Grill, the Riviera-inspired restaurant located just steps from the sand at Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach, is pleased to announce its new Beachfront Grill Nights, every Friday and Saturday night from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Beachfront Grill Nights are open to the public and feature a gourmet barbeque menu, specialty cocktails, rhythms of live Mediterranean music, and gorgeous views of the sand and sea. Friday night’s Beachfront Grill Night also offers Cinema Paradiso, a film shown after sunset on a big screen at the resort’s oceanfront pool. The movie selection will change weekly and consists of summer blockbusters and classics with a little comedy and camp thrown in for good measure. An a la carte menu of appetizers, popcorn and theatre snacks is also available during Cinema Paradiso.

A Night on the Mediterranean Riviera
With one of the only true beachfront locations in Miami, Costa Grill provides a magical setting reminiscent of breezy nights on the Mediterranean, with a moonlit ocean, swaying palm trees and starry skies. In similar fashion to a private summer home on the Riviera and in keeping with the Italian-inspired resort’s philosophy of “La Dolce Vita,” guests can while away the summer nights at the ocean shore with gourmet barbeque, specialty cocktails and fine wines. Prix fixe grill menu offerings include favorites such as Grilled 10oz U.S.D.A. New York Strip, Grilled Fresh Local Mahi Mahi and Grilled Florida Gulf Shrimp. Each entrée includes specialty salads from the salad station; a choice of two sides, including Sweet Corn on the Cob, Hot & Smoked Baked Beans and Baked Potatoes with all the toppings; and dessert. Fanciful cocktails such as “La Dolce Vita,” with Bacardi Orange Rum, Orange Juice, Pineapple Juice and Fresh Squeezed Lemon with a floater of Myers’s Dark Rum; and “From Russia with Love,” with Stoli Elite Vodka, Kahlua, Baileys and Grand Marnier are a perfect accompaniment before and during the meal. Cinema Paradiso
Cinema Paradiso, at sunset on Fridays, is an al fresco movie event in a beautiful open-air setting. Guests can mingle around the pool and watch favorites of the silver screen while sipping specialty cocktails and enjoying items from the specialty appetizer menu. Selections include Chili Chicken Wings; Mini Lobster Rolls, Fresh Avocado and Corn Salsa with Blue Nachos; and Meatball Sliders; and desserts such as Mini Brownie Cupcakes; and Peanut Butter and Fudge Brownies with Salted Peanuts.
