Renowned Chef Wolfgang Puck was referred to Acqualina’s Il Mulino restaurant. Though he arrived at nearly 11pm and the restaurant was closed, Il Mulino’s Head Maitre D’, Tino Ponticorvo, recognized the Chef and opened the restaurant to personally prepare his meal.
Chef Puck was most impressed with Tino’s pasta with fresh seafood and gracious hospitality and he now refers Acqualina’s Il Mulino to friends and family.
Equally impressed by Il Mulino was former President Bill Clinton, who enjoyed a simple pasta dish followed by cheesecake, while soaking in the beautiful Sunny Isles Beach weather.
This winter season, every guest at Il Mulino can be among those who enjoy Head Maitre D’ Tino Ponticorvo’s hospitality. Each guest will receive complimentary grappa, made by Tino, in many flavors including mango, strawberry and pineapple.
