Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach, South Florida’s ultra-luxury retreat, is pleased to announce its 2012 Family Escape Package, an exciting getaway for families this summer. The Five Diamond Award-winning resort and recipient of the 2010 Fodor’s Choice Gold Award (Best Hotels for Kids and Families) and the 2011 Andrew Harper’s Reader’s Choice (Top 20 Beach and Family Resorts) offers its Family Escape package from now through December 20, 2012.
The Family Escape package offers guests complimentary spa access, complimentary access to the award-winning AcquaMarine Children’s Program, a daily $40 body or facial spa treatment credit for up to two adults, daily continental breakfast for two served by Il Mulino New York, Internet access and valet parking daily.
The AcquaMarine Program provides the perfect opportunity for children to choose from a range of indoor and outdoor activities, while parents focus on relaxing and rejuvenating. As part of the package, children can enjoy the 500-square-foot well-equipped and supervised AcquaMarine-themed center, which features a computer/technology area, arts & crafts center, toys, microscopes, movies and video games. The innovative marine biology inspired program combines education, exercises and fun, focusing on all things sea-related. Aqua-themed adventures such as Sharks and Rays, the Wonderful World of Whales, Acqua Patrol, City Under the Sea, relay races, trivia challenges and scavenger hunts are sure to keep children (ages 5 to 12) thoroughly entertained.
While the kids enjoy playtime, parents can rejuvenate worry free at Acqualina’s award-winning 20,000 sq ft. oceanfront Acqualina Spa by ESPA or indulge in delectable Italian cuisine and wines at the newly opened Piazzetta Marketplace & Restaurant. At Piazzetta, families can dine-in or take-away the finest fresh, prepared and gourmet foods, or choose from an assortment of delicious gelatos.
The longer you stay, the more you save with Acqualina’s Family Escape Package. Rates start from $375 per night for 1 to 2 night stays, $350 per night for 3 to 4 night stays and $325 per night for 5 nights or longer. Rates vary by season, room type and length of stay. Rates are subject to availability, blackout dates and certain restrictions may apply. Daily rates are in US Dollars, based on double occupancy, subject to 13% tax.
