RESORT DESCRIPTION

Acqualina is a place where the charm of a Mediterranean villa meets elegance on the beach and is the recipient of the coveted AAA Five Diamond Award for the second consecutive year. Located on 4.5 beachfront acres with 400 feet of stunning Atlantic Ocean coastline, Acqualina features 188 residences and 97 impeccable guests rooms and suites, a 20,000 s.f. ESPA oceanfront spa , two oceanfront restaurants including the acclaimed Il Mulino New York, three oceanfront swimming pools and an innovative marine biology-based AcquaMarine children's program.

Acqualina offers its guests complimentary internet access and a daily $40 body or facial spa treatment credit for up to two adults as part of their hotel stay. Guests of our luxury Miami hotel also receive complimentary spa access which includes Crystal Steam Rooms, Finnish Saunas, and Experience Showers. Spa credits are not combinable and must be used on separately purchased treatments.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Acqualina's 54 guest rooms and 43 suites are havens of elegance and comfort. The richly appointed accommodations at our luxury Florida hotel feature classic furnishings with fresh modern elements complete with luxurious fabrics and gracious amenities such as private terraces, flat-screen TVs and bathrooms with imported marble flooring, double sinks, bath tub and glass-enclosed shower. All rooms and suites offer magnificent views and are equipped with fully stocked private bars with gourmet food snacks, goose down duvet & pillows (foam pillows available upon request), Frette sheets, ETRO bath amenities, hair dryer & makeup mirror, luxurious bathrobes, in-room CD players, IPOD docking stations, high-speed Internet access, and umbrellas.

Rooms
Guest rooms offer Intracoastal Waterway vistas and oceanfront views and feature a king-size bed, sitting area, flat-screen TV, entertainment unit, writing desk, private terrace and bathroom with marble flooring, double sinks, bath tub and glass-enclosed shower. Some feature pull out sofa sleeper.

Suites
All hotel suites feature an ocean view, a bedroom with king-size bed, separate living room, writing desk, two flat-screen TVs, entertainment unit, private terrace and spacious bathroom outfitted with imported marble flooring, double sinks, custom vanity area, bath tub and glass-enclosed shower. Full gourmet kitchens are featured in many suites with sub-zero built-in refrigerator/freezer, designer granite countertops, Italian limited edition cabinets, microwave, dishwasher, stainless-steel sink and garbage disposal. Some suites feature one-and-a-half bathrooms and a breakfast room.

Arrival & Departure
Guests may check in after 4:00 pm. Check-out time is 12:00 pm. Changing facilities are available for early arrivals and late departures.

Groundbreaking in design and cutting edge in spa expertise, the luxurious 20,000-square-foot two-story Acqualina Spa by ESPA overlooks the glistening Atlantic Ocean and provides guests and outside clients with a tranquil sanctuary. Acqualina Spa by ESPA combines the best of ancient and modern therapies with the latest and finest skin care advances. The ultimate treatment choice, ESPA Time, commences with a Welcome Foot Ritual where the client's needs are established, resulting in tailored treatments and a completely customized experience. All treatments are enhanced by a full line of ESPA marine, aromatherapy and plant active products blended using the highest quality organically grown plants, known for their purity, potency and exceptional results in skincare. The spa features his and her locker rooms equipped with sauna, steam room, his and her relaxation lounges, and an outdoor spa veranda with outdoor spa pools.

RESORT ACTIVITIES

Pools and Cabanas
Three outdoor swimming pools provide a haven for relaxation. Sundries, including suntan lotion, sunscreen and sun glasses, are available for purchase at the Beach Club Pool kiosk, open on weekends and holidays. Pools are restricted to residents, hotel guests and beach club members. When visiting the pool areas, guests are asked to bring their room key and beach pass. Cabanas are available for full-day rentals. They include personalized service and various amenities to make the guests' day in the sun more enjoyable.

Fitness Center
Outfitted in the latest in strength and cardiovascular equipment, the oceanfront fitness center, located on the Mezzanine Level, is equipped with an array of Life Fitness brand weight training units. Additionally the fitness center is equipped with state of the art, Polar Heart Rate ready Life Fitness brand treadmills, isometric machines and stationary bicycles.

Spa Boutique and Gift Shop
Our Spa Boutique is located on the Lobby level within ESPA. The shop features luxury brands, specialty gift items and resort wear. Amenities such as newspapers, magazines and other sundries and toiletries can be purchased at the Concierge Desk

Offering an array of activities for children and young adults ages 4 - 12, AcquaMarine focuses on all things pertaining to the ocean, combining education, exercise and fun to keep kids learning and laughing all day long. In addition to AcquaMarine's designated programs, kids will also enjoy the state-of-the-art, 500-square-foot children's room, complete with a computer center, video games, toys, microscopes and movies. Here, kids will be invited to participate in arts and crafts, outdoor games, scrap-booking and other seasonally planned activities. Additionally, we will offer our guests evening programs and nanny services.

A day of "Acqua Patrol" activities, which teach kids about the world of the Coast Guard during a beach boot-camp relay and kayak-rescue mission; boating and fishing safety games; a life-jacket fashion show and service-award presentation;
A "Whimsical Waves" program that takes children on a journey of waves through science projects, wave-making arts and crafts and skim boarding adventures;
The "Junior Guards" beach-awareness workshop, which teaches children all about what it takes to be a life guard;
The "City Under the Sea" program that explores the mysterious underwater city known as the reef through snorkeling and the creation of an "edible reef." There is an additional charge for AcquaMarine services.

Guests can also enjoy delicious gourmet fare at the beach bar and restaurant, Costa Grill, open for lunch from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm. The resort's bar offers signature cocktails and sumptuous hors d'oeuvres and small plates, including the locally renowned, Hiro's Yakko Sushi. The Bar and Lounge is open daily from 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm. 24-hour In-Room dining is also available.

Acqualina is pleased to feature New York City's most acclaimed Italian restaurant, Il Mulino New York. Renowned for its bustling and energetic atmosphere, market fresh daily specials, extensive selection of fine Italian wines and an impeccably polished wait staff, the new Il Mulino New York restaurant serves breakfast in Aaria Lounge and on the Aaria Veranda daily and is open daily for lunch and dinner and continues its tradition of preparing authentic cuisine from Italy's Abruzzi region.

BANQUETS & MEETINGS

Four oceanfront meeting rooms offer guests a perfect setting for small meetings ranging in size from 10 to 40 persons and parties for up to 130 persons. Meeting rooms are equipped for high-speed Internet access, individual sound systems and temperature control. Acqualina's tented lawn areas can accommodate weddings and other special occasions for up to 200 persons for a reception and 130 persons for a sit-down dinner with dance floor and entertainment. Acqualina's exclusive address, exceptional setting and extraordinary services make it an ideal location for small meetings, executive retreats, board meetings and intimate social gatherings.

DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS

From Ft. Lauderdale International Airport: Take I-95 South towards Miami. Exit Ives Dairy Road. Turn left. Continue on Ives Dairy Road making a slight right on Biscayne Boulevard. Go left onto William Lehman Causeway. Take the SR-A1A-S ramp. Stay right to go onto Collins Avenue heading South. Go past 178th Street and make the next U-turn onto Collins Avenue.

From Miami International Airport: Take I-95 South towards downtown. Merge onto I-95 North via exit on left towards Ft. Lauderdale/Orlando. Merge onto 826 East. Make a left at the traffic light onto Collins Avenue/SR-A1A-N. Proceed north on Collins Avenue to 178th Street.
