Celebrate Valentine's Day at Acqualina
Romance your Valentine with an Oceanside Dinner Under the Stars at Acqualina.
This Valentine's Day, Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach will host "Oceanside Dinner Under the Stars" featuring entertainment by Kimona who will delight Acqualina guests with her sultry vocals and jazz tunes.
Cozy up with your special someone and share an exceptional four-course dinner imagined with love by Celebrity Executive Chef Dewey LoSasso. Dinner begins with a cold and hot antipasto plate featuring Tuna Crudo with truffle essence and fig jam, Sambuca Cured Salmon with pumpkin Carpaccio and crispy leeks, Roasted Blue Point Oysters with arugula and a parmesan crust, Grilled and Picked Vegetables, Duck Liver Crostini with onion marmalade, Olives and Marcona Almonds, Grapefruit Gremolata and Rosemary Crostini.
The romance continues with the second course, a choice of Escarole and Smoked Duck Salad with peppered berries, blossoms and white balsamic vinaigrette or Crab Rissole with tarragon and saffron foam. A superb entrée selection includes a choice of Herb Seared Yellow Fin Tuna "Marsala" with wild mushrooms, capers and salsify or Porcini Seared Filet Mignon and Lobster Gratin with Crispy Short Rib and Barolo Ravioli with roasted garlic and cauliflower puree. The decadent dessert is made to share. Guests will enjoy Dark Chocolate Torte with salted caramel semifreddo, Local Ricotta Cannoli or a Berry and Mascarpone Gratin with amaretti dust.

Chef Dewey LoSasso will oversee and reconceptualize the food and beverage program at our Forbes Travel Guide Five Star and AAA Five Diamond resort.
Chef LoSasso has been a driving force on the South Florida culinary scene having served as the Chef at The Forge since 2008. Chef LoSasso received "excellent" ratings from The Miami Herald and South Florida Sun Sentinel, and was honored as one of Ocean Drive magazine's "Great Chefs." He also served as executive chef at New York's Hudson Hotel, and as the executive and concept chef for China Grill Management's Tuscan Steak in Miami, which was a South Beach favorite during his tenure.
In his illustrious career, LoSasso has also served as Donatella Versace's personal chef and food event coordinator, creating magnificent meals for the fashion icon's famed parties. He brought fine dining to the sports world as the head chef for the Lipton Tennis Tournament (now Sony Ericsson Open). A New Jersey-native born into an Italian family, LoSasso realized his passion for cooking at age 13, and has been leaving his mark of excellence in kitchens ever since.
