Every year, summer\u00a0heralds\u00a0a\u00a0cherished\u00a0tradition\u00a0for families\u00a0to\u00a0bask in the sun, stroll in the sand and\u00a0reconnect with friends and each other.\u00a0Acqualina\u00a0Resort CEO\u00a0and Partner\u00a0Deborah Yager Fleming\u00a0says\u00a0it\u2019s become her tradition to greet\u00a0families\u00a0that\u00a0return to the\u00a0luxury, oceanfront\u00a0to\u00a0fold new\u00a0memory-making experiences into\u00a0their annual vacations.\u00a0\u201cWith team members who\u00a0create\u00a0activities every hour, it\u2019s\u00a0almost like a great country club\u00a0where you can meet people and make friends,\u201d she says. \u201cNow we\u2019re 16 years old, we see these families that come year after year,\u201d with kids who were toddlers now playing life-sized chess with their parents and grandparents. Beachside games run the gamut from low-key ping pong or cornhole on the beach to high-energy oceanfront beach-adjacent basketball and soccer on the Great Lawn. Kids who don\u2019t yet know how to swim can learn in a safe, professional setting with Oscar and his team from Miami Fitness, and the entire family can sign-up for scuba lessons with Squalo Divers, a PADI Five Star Dive operation. The Acqualina team also organizes outdoor games, arts and crafts, scrapbooking, kite flying, beach activities<\/a> and water relay races in one of two family-friendly pools.
