The Japanese-inspired restaurant was recreated by Italian design group Cristiano Gatto Design, and hallmarks of the design include serenity and privacy, mingled with American sophistication and authentic Japanese aesthetics.</p>\n<p>The transformation includes vibrant red drapes, bestowing an homage to traditional Japanese color, along with a strategically placed bonsai tree anchored in the main dining room for tranquility. Innovative lighting that can easily be adjusted to match the mood or an event is another key factor: during the day, light flows through the large windows, creating a serene ambiance for breakfast; while at night, dimmable lights cast a soft, intimate glow that encourages a peaceful dinner. What does remain the same is the chefs’ dedication to showcasing personal recipes, making everything from the ponzu sauce to aioli sauce in house. Plates are tapas-style and meant to be shared.
