For me, the fall has always been reminiscent of pumpkins &#8211; which happen to be loaded with antioxidants and vitamin C &#8211; therefore, I\u2019ve created a DIY pumpkin-inspired face mask and body scrub to help you protect and restore your skin\u00a0this season.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Pumpkin Face Mask:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 tablespoon canned organic pumpkin<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon honey<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd teaspoon milk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Directions:<\/p>\n<p>Mix ingredients together until smooth. After cleaning and exfoliating your face, apply pumpkin mixture and let set for 15-20 minutes, rinse with warm water. Suggestion: apply coconut oil to the face before applying the mask, gently massaging the oil into the skin to stimulate the circulation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pumpkin Body Scrub:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bd pumpkin puree (fresh or canned)<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup virgin, cold-pressed coconut oil<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd teaspoon ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup brown sugar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Directions:<\/p>\n<p>Mix all three ingredients together and apply generously to clean skin, massaging it into the skin for best effects. After 10 minutes, rinse with warm water and pat dry. Inside Info: the virgin, cold pressed coconut oil not only moisturizes your skin, but helps to exfoliate dead cells. It even has anti-bacterial properties.
