This year, I\u2019ve created a healthy take on the traditional green bean casserole. Once your guests try this, I\u2019m sure they will ask for the recipe, therefore, I\u2019ve included it below. Bon Appetit!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 1\/2 pounds slender green beans, trimmed<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons olive oil<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup pine nuts (about 1 1\/2 ounces)<\/li>\n<li>2 garlic cloves, minced<\/li>\n<li>18 large fresh basil leaves, chopped<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cook beans in large pot of boiling salted water until crisp-tender, about 5 minutes. Drain. Place beans in bowl of ice water to cool. Drain well. Pat dry with paper towels. (Can be made 1 day ahead. Wrap in paper towels and refrigerate.)<\/p>\n<p>Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium-low heat. Add pine nuts and saut\u00e9 until light brown, about 6 minutes. Add garlic; stir 1 minute. Add green beans to skillet; saut\u00e9 until heated through, about 5 minutes. Stir in basil. Season with salt and pepper.
