Like a gem firmly ensconced within its crown, the new Royal Spa Suite holds court from its post within Acqualina Spa by ESPA \u2013 and it\u2019s a majestic experience, to be sure. The new 820-square-foot oasis complements the serene environs of the two-story spa and offers those searching for a day of extraordinary pampering the ultimate level of privacy, extravagance and relaxation.<\/p>\n

Think of it as a spa-within-a-spa, with all of the usual suspects present and accounted for. The in-suite amenities, however, aren\u2019t exactly what you might label \u201cusual\u201d. There\u2019s a private steam room made of mother-of-pearl, a rainforest shower for two that gives way to a separate lounge and bathroom area, and a private terrace overlooking the water of the Atlantic below. If a splurge-worthy experience is what you\u2019re after, you\u2019ve undoubtedly found it.<\/p>\n

The suite\u2019s new look is a style reflective of its environment. Sapphire and cream blankets were thoughtfully chosen for both treatment beds as a reflection of the sea, while gold-dusted mosaic tiles call out the warmth of South Florida\u2019s sun. Fendi Casa was enlisted to outfit the room with Audrey swivel chairs, a ballet metal coffee table and a Dedalo buffet console with a crown glass top, at the ready with a variety of teas and welcoming treats. The warm light that envelopes the room is the result of an Italian chandelier made of multi-layered cascading crystal gems hanging in the suite.<\/p>\n

Treatments are fully customizable for those looking this sanctuary, as is the music accompanying the services. After a personal consultation with a professional ESPA therapist, each guest receives a tailored ESPA time journey, which includes a full-body exfoliation, body wrap, massage, scalp exfoliation and\/or facial. Lunch, prepared by the resort\u2019s executive sous chef Sebastian Barrera, can be enjoyed at the suite. The space can also be booked after the spa has closed for an evening of private indulgences. It is the ultimate romantic experience – a decadent way to ensure your special someone feels like a king or queen.<\/p>\n
