Sunny Isles FL, – November 17, 2015

The Trump Group along with esteemed Art Consultant Cathy Leff and distinguished artist Nancy Lorenz gathered Miami’s most prominent art leaders together to celebrate the unveiling of Lorenz’s two spectacular art pieces situated in the Grand Salon of The Mansions at Acqualina.

These two masterpieces grace the east and west wings of the Grand Salon in the luxurious residences and took nearly four months to complete. “To have the paintings serve as the first impression for guests is a complete honor. It took almost four months working night and day, and to finally see it installed is incredibly exciting.”- Nancy expressed in her interview with us.

The 14ft by 17ft paintings were made using the finest handcrafted materials; pearls were inlayed alongside with layers of clay for a water gilding technique. Then, each entire piece was carefully sanded and polished by hand before the gold leaf and palladium were applied. Final lacquers of colors were also applied and hand burnished to create a magnificent result.

Guests also enjoyed an exquisite five-course dinner menu by celebrity Executive Chef Michele Mazza, along with a hand-selected wines paired by Il Mulino. One of the evening’s most exciting moments was the art dialogue opened between Nancy Lorenz and Cathy Leff during the dinner. Without question, it was an impeccable evening that united art, architecture, and life.
