Thanksgiving Week Arts & Crafts Programming For Young Guests Ages 5-12

By Michelle Payer

Always at the forefront of innovative, exciting and ever-changing programming to keep its young guests entertained, Acqualina has created four new activities – one for each day – available between 2 and 3 p.m. Thanksgiving week. Outdoors, safe and socially distanced, just two families will share a table, all crafts will be individually packaged for each child and an Activity Leader will be there to help and inspire children or just cheer them on, making this an hour of memorable fun. Join one day, or join every day to return with artistic memories that last a lifetime.

November 23 – Water Bottle Creations: Children are already mindful of the environment and love to learn how they can help preserve it. Here, they will design their own reusable water bottle using a variety of bright and colorful waterproof stickers.

November 24 – Painting With A Twist:  A star is born! Children are immensely creative and notice details that often elude adults. Here, young guests will draw inspiration from the beautiful scenery surrounding them – palm trees, flora, fauna, ocean, sand, signature red lounge chairs, pools and more – as they fill their blank canvases with color.

November 26 – Stuff a Sea Turtle:  Did you know the beach area surrounding Acqualina are turtle nesting grounds? We love to educate our young guests about nature’s wonders. Here, children will stuff a plush sea turtle and design a mini t-shirt to remind them of their beach stay.

November 27 – Beading and Keychains: Decorate your backpack, phone or keys with your own work of art! Here, young guests will create personalized artwork they can transfer to different items or wear as an accessory.
