No strangers to the resort, Sabina and Jared Young spent many summers vacationing at Acqualina. Falling in love with our romantic ambience, spectacular seaside setting, and world class service, it didn’t take this newlywed couple long to realize Acqualina was the perfect wedding destination.
Recently featured in The Bridal Circle, we are delighted to share a Real Acqualina Wedding Q&A with you, as told by Sabina and Jared.
How did you two meet? We met freshman year of college.
Sabina, how did your fiancé propose? He put the ring on our kitten’s collar and had him wake me up – that’s when I saw Jared down on bended knee.
We love your wedding dress and shoes, who designed them? The dress is Monique Lhuillier and the shoes are Jimmy Choo.
Where did you gain the inspiration behind this wedding? We were inspired by the beachfront destination and were also going for a classic wedding based around our purple wedding color scheme.
Describe your wedding for us. The whole ambience of the clear tent under the stars was gorgeous. The purple flowers with blush pink beaded linens and lavender flood lighting made the whole space feel elegant and warm. The best part was my husband (of course) who danced the night away to our amazing band!
What was your favorite wedding memory? Sneaking a bite of sushi from the cocktail hour spread before going into our reception. We had no time for food the whole night but at least we tried everything!
