The classic picnic trunk by Goyard is one of the Maison’s most symbolic styles and stems from a seminal Goyard tradition. Goyard has offered picnic baskets since our inception in 1853, with the wicker basket version still available today. The classic model (as seen) is entirely handcrafted by a singular artisan in the Goyard workshops in the south of France. It takes six months to complete for a “standard” model. The structure is composed of poplar wood and covered with our signature Goyardine canvas. The inside is lined with fine leather in yellow. The standard model comes complete with silver, china and accessories.
