Since 1995, the Acqualina family, led by Stephanie, Jules, and Eddie Trump, have been committed to supporting their local community through the “I Have a Dream” Foundation, the Miami Chapter of which they founded in 1995. Among other programs and events, this generous support has included hosting a major charitable Gala each year where South Florida philanthropists join the “Dreamers” for a magical evening filled with dreams and opportunities ready to come true. This year’s Miami Gala, now in its 29th year, will take place on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 6:30pm at The Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida.
Spearhaded by Stephanie’s tireless efforts, the “I Have A Dream” Foundation empowers low-income children to fulfill their dreams of higher education and leadership potential by providing them with the skills, knowledge, and habits they need to succeed in college and beyond. This includes “adopting” an entire class of Dreamers from early elementary school in an economically disadvantage neighborhood and guaranteeing them with academic tuition at a Florida state university for a 4-year degree or at an accredited trade school.
Guests attending this year’s Gala can expect a truly memorable evening. The Gala will begin with a cocktail reception followed by dinner, music, and a live auction, the proceeds from which will support Miami Dreamers and ensure them the opportunity for a bright and promising future.
This year’s event will also incorporate a Silent Auction ahead of the in-person gala which is already open to prospective bidders. Among an array of incredible prizes are luxury hotel stays and shopping experiences to award-winning spa packages in locations like Los Cabos, Laguna Beach, Manhattan, and Nantucket.
For those who wish to support this year’s Gala or support the “I Have A Dream” Foundation’s incredible programs, more information and ways to give can be found at dreammiami.org.
