The Ultimate Luxury Spa Experience at Acqualina Resort & Spa

A day at the most gorgeous ESPA at Acqualina Resort & Spa was just everything I could have imagined and more.
The ESPA Crystalized Steam Room was one of my favorite amenities at the spa. I recently started doing research into being more aligned and aware for a better well-being. This crystallized steam room is created to ignite the body’s seven chakras through a spectrum of color and light. It’s such a calming experience to just sit in the steam room and meditate. The light in the room keeps changing to the chakra colors and is said to balance energies lacking from a person’s physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.
After a peaceful time at the steam room and quick shower, I headed to the relaxation lounge for some tea. One part of the room is lined with gently back lit Himalayan salt wall which fills the room with detoxifying negative ions helping to purify the air naturally. The Himalayan salt creates vibrations in harmony with human cells, improving mood and access the “ancient wisdom” hidden within.
I didn’t have enough time to take a dip in the private spa pool. But the view is something that I had to check out. Also it was just a gorgeous day to be out in the terrace enjoying the sun.
I wanted to enter the new year with a fresh face. I chose to get the Optimal Skin Pro Facial treatment. It’s a 50-minutes treatment designed to re-balance, hydrate and revitalize. Finished our amazing luxury spa day by having a late lunch at Il Mulino New York. It’s an upscale Miami restaurant with enviable view of the beach. Truly impeccable service, and don’t even get me started on the food. We ordered the delicious Ravioli Al Porcini, wild Salmon, and a salad for the table. We hung out there for a while, just enjoying the tasty food and view. I heard that their Sunday brunch is pretty popular and now I’m planning to have an epic brunch day at Il Mulino soon.
I also had a chance to get a tour of the new Acqualina towers that will go up right next to the resort by 2020. It’s called The Estates at Acqualina. Now my plan is to move in here by 2020, a girl can dream! The lobbies will be designed by Karl Lagerfeld and the list of amenities is just endless.
