Compliance With CDC and WHO Guidelines
As information surrounding COVID-19 continues to develop, the management team at Acqualina has remained connected to valuable resources and is committed to following all the best practices recommended by the experts. When new data emerges, we adapt as needed, all with an eye toward ensuring our guests and our team experience well-being and peace of mind in equal measure. As ever, your safety is our number one priority.
What to Expect Upon Arrival
Upon arriving at Acqualina, all guests and visitors will be asked to pass a temperature check before accessing the porte cochère. Social distancing guidelines will be observed in common areas, with guests maintaining at least six feet of distance from everyone who is not a member of their immediate party. Guests are also required to wear an appropriate face covering while traversing common areas of the property (a complimentary mask will be provided with a sanitary gift bag as a welcome amenity). All team members will also observe appropriate personal-protection-equipment protocols and distancing rules.
Superior Cleaning Products
Acqualina Resort is making use of cleaning products and practices which meet and/or exceed EPA guidelines for effectiveness against viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens. The management team has worked with our vendor and supply-chain partners to ensure an adequate supply of both cleaning products and protective gear.
Enhanced Sterilization of Common Areas
We have increased both the frequency and efficacy of sanitization in all public spaces. Particular attention is being paid to frequently contacted surfaces such as front-desk counters, elevator buttons, door handles, restrooms, ATMs, handrails, gym equipment, and dining and seating areas.
Improved Housekeeping
Our enhanced cleaning products and practices also extend to the preparation and maintenance of your guest room. Adequate time has been allotted for housekeeping services to completely sterilize each room between guest visits. Each guest will find a COVID-19 information card upon check-in that describes safety protocols and expectations, as well as complimentary hand sanitizer. Additionally, we have improved the flexibility of scheduling turn-down service and the routine guest-room cleaning to reduce contact.
