Summertime Stays at Acqualina

By Erica Corsano

So many exclusive elements make Acqualina the ideal summer destination. The waterfront oasis doesn’t require a passport for entrance but looks and feels like the Mediterranean coastline. Inspired by the famous, Italian seaside city of Positano, and the surrounding region, Acqualina exudes European vibes that are perfectly melded with the best South Florida has to offer.

Relax poolside in one of the stunning property’s three pools or lounge beachside, and enjoy the clear blue waters and moderate waves of the Atlantic. Restless travelers can indulge in activities fit for royalty, in the form of water sports, fitness classes, spa treatments, boating excursions and much more. All you have to do is ask and a friendly team member can accommodate your every wish, want or desire!

Globetrotting gourmands can feed on global fare at Ke-uH, Il Mulino New York, Avra or Costa Grill.

Chef Oscar Noborikawa and his culinary team offer tapas-style dishes at Ke-uH, including their famous “Bea” roll, made with crispy shrimp, fried plantains, avocado and cream cheese, wrapped in red chili soy paper and topped with eel sauce and lemon pepper. The Ke-uH bar is the ideal pre- or post-dinner spot for craft cocktails and recreation. Sip on a signature cocktail while playing chess or backgammon on a custom, art-inspired game set. The ultra-chic space includes a gorgeous collection of original contemporary art, including Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein.

World-renowned Italian restaurant Il Mulino New York offers up a bustling and energetic atmosphere, market fresh daily specials, extensive selection of fine Italian wines and impeccably polished wait staff while Avra (located in the Estates Residences next door) transports guests to a Grecian island with its authentic fare and charming-meets-contemporary décor.
