Miami Beach luxury resort to offer four over-the-top New Year’s Eve experiences for adults and kids

 

Sunny Isles Beach, FL (November 19, 2013)Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach, Miami Beach’s only Forbes Travel Guide Five Star and AAA Five Diamond hotel, has announced their New Year’s Eve extravaganza -- Out of Africa, which transforms the resort into a mystical  atmosphere and incorporates a gourmet menu and world-class entertainment.

Acqualina’s Out of Africa New Year’s celebration will be the preferred New Year’s celebration for connoisseurs of contemporary culture and rarified taste. The ultimate celebration for the most discerning international jetsetter and astute South Florida resident, Out of Africa offers guests four options to ring in the New Year in style including a dedicated kids-only New Year’s Eve bash:

  •  Dinner with celebratory champagne toast- $295/adult & $147/ kids 12 & under
  • Dinner with open bar and DJ party- $350/adult
  • Open bar and DJ party only- $125/adult
  • Kids-only Safari New Year’s Eve Bash- $85/child -- 8:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.

The evening’s festivities will commence at 9 p.m. Guests who select the dinner option will enjoy the resort’s interactive food stations. With indoor and outdoor seating available, stations will include gourmet dishes like charred lamb kabobs served over barley and ostrich bobotie, seared prime strip steaks, and giant prawn cocktail with spicy tomato jam, a premium wine tasting station featuring a selection of the finest South African wines to include the classic Pinotage, Stein and Baronne, as well as a decadent dessert station with an array of South African inspired dishes such as citrus tart with honey and dates, buttermilk rusks, Koekisters, wood grilled angel food cake, and "Honest Chocolate Torte " featuring chocolate from the famous Cape Town chocolate shop. Special dessert beverages such as Amarula cream and rooibos tea will also be available. 

Guests who select the open bar and DJ party option will enjoy live music, an open premium bar and specialty drinks prepared by the resort’s mixologist. Fire dancers will entertain while soft tribal drumming fills the air. The ultra VIP party will be set poolside in an African setting with tiki torches and lanterns. Guests will countdown to the New Year with DJ Shlomi spinning the hottest tracks, filling the air with love and high energy until 1 a.m.

The resort has also added another unique component to evening. From 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., kids are invited to celebrate at a dedicated kids-only Safari New Year’s Eve Bash. Young guests ages 4 to 12 will enjoy their own personal DJ and activities including a video game station, an Out of Africa photo booth, Safari stuff-an-animal contest, mask making and a kid’s dinner buffet menu. The kids-only party allows families to celebrate the night all under one roof with individual experiences to leave lasting memories.  This event is available to Acqualina hotel guests and residents and to local patrons who have a dinner reservation at Il Mulino or Acqualina’s Out of Africa Event on December 31, 2013.
