MIAMI, June 3, 2025 – Acqualina Resort & Residences Trump family, Stephanie, Jules, and Eddie Trump, are excited to host the 30th annual “I Have a Dream” Foundation Miami Gala on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 6:30pm at The Turnberry Resort in Aventura. The Gala aims to celebrate the Class of 2032, who began on their academic journey with the “I Have a Dream” Miami program as second graders. The Trump family founded the Miami-Dade chapter in 1995.
This year marks a remarkable milestone as the Gala celebrates its 30th anniversary—a testament to the Foundation’s enduring impact and the unwavering commitment of the Trump family and community supporters. The evening promises to be especially meaningful, honoring three decades of transforming lives through education, inspiration, and opportunity, and showcasing the powerful legacy of the Dreamers who have gone on to achieve extraordinary success.
The Gala will begin with a captivating cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by an exquisite dinner, music, and an exhilarating live auction. All the funds raised during the live auction will be dedicated to supporting the “I Have a Dream” Foundation Miami Dreamers, ensuring their bright and promising futures.
The “I Have a Dream” Foundation is committed to empowering children from low-income areas to reach their educational and career goals by providing a long-term program of mentoring, tutoring, and tuition assistance for higher education. The Foundation guarantees the children’s academic tuition at a Florida state university for a four-year degree or an accredited trade school.
“We are honored to be part of this incredible program. We are preparing our Dreamers to become proud and productive citizens by giving them the necessary tools they need to make their dreams a reality. So many of these Dreamers are the first in their families to graduate high school, let alone go on to college,” says Stephanie Trump of Acqualina Resort. “It is so rewarding to see our students after the program who have gone on to successful career paths.”
The Foundation initially adopted the entire second grade class (97 Dreamers) at the Charles R. Drew School in Liberty City. Out of the 95 Dreamers who reached the 12th grade, an impressive 83 of them graduated on time, and 54 graduated from college. In August 2007, the “I Have a Dream” Foundation adopted a new class of Dreamers at Hibiscus Elementary School in Miami, known as the class of 2020. Among the 107 Dreamers, 96 graduated on time, with five graduated in 2021. As a result, 86 Dreamers are now enrolled in post-secondary education. While only 50% of students in low-income communities are expected to complete high school, and only one out of seven will graduate from college, our Dreamers have gone on to become teachers, social workers, secretaries, scholar-athletes, lawyers, and more.
The “I Have a Dream” Foundation Miami Chapter is currently supporting 55 Dreamers, who will become the graduating class of 2032. These young children will be afforded the same opportunities as the classes of 2005 and 2020.
