New aesthetic treatments and services are now at Acqualina Spa

June 30, 2022 – The award-winning Acqualina Spa collaborates with Apprize Beauty to offer coveted high-end beauty treatments to complement its extensive treatment menu at the award-winning Five Star Spa in Miami’s Sunny Isles Beach.

Apprize Beauty was developed by Dr. Matthew Cooper, a renowned sports medicine and enzyme therapy specialist who has incorporated anti-aging medicine into his practice. “Many people offer Botox, fillers, and IVs, but ours are truly customized and sourced from the best possible ingredients,” he says.

Starting with IV therapy, Dr. Cooper and board certified nurse practitioner, Briege Marie Azadi, create customized concoctions to target various needs to assist everything from sleep, energy, and overall cardiac health to asthma and allergies. “There’s a beauty component, too,” says Dr. Cooper. “You need nutrients on the inside to help the skin on the outside.”

The complete treatment list of aesthetic offerings includes chemical peels, anti-wrinkle treatments (Botox, Dysport), facial fillers, regenerative aesthetics including micro-needling with PRP and stem cells and hair restoration with stem cells, while IV treatments include elixirs for hair, skin, and nails, immunity, fat loss/muscle growth and NAD.

Earlier this year, Acqualina Spa introduced two new facials designed to target recovery and results with the Collagen Sculpting Facial (75-minutes, $425) and Ultimate Performance Facial (75-minutes, $445 or 90-minutes $520) using Swissline’s foundation in cellular therapy and biotech innovation. The award-winning formulas embrace natural actives and skin-identical ingredients including hyaluronic acid, pre-and pro-biotics, and niacinamide that work with your skin, not against it, and make them highly effective in lifting and firming.

Additionally, Acqualina Spa Director Catherine Davalle created the TMJ Release Massage in collaboration with the highly skilled Acqualina Spa therapy team. The TMJ Release Massage includes deep tissue techniques combined with myofascial release to deliberately relieve tightness in the upper back, then neck, pectoral, facial, quick intra-oral (with gloves) if the patient agrees, jaw muscles and scalp.

Acqualina Spa will continue to develop additional collaborations and treatments and always adapt and evolve to new stresses, situations, and needs brought on by both the pandemic and everyday life.

The 20,000-square-foot, two-story Acqualina Spa features 11 multi-functional treatment rooms and an extravagant Royal Spa Suite for two, multiple saunas, alluring crystal steam room, arctic ice fountain, along with the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful outdoor terrace complete with a spa pool, heated jet pool, and Roman waterfall – all set against the alluring backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean.
