MIAMI, June 29, 2020 – Acqualina Resort & Residences offers a gorgeous beachfront location with 4.5 acres of seaside bliss. Within the beautiful Mediterranean villa environment, guests will discover exciting al fresco dining options from the beachfront Costa Grill to the renowned Il Mulino New York. Additionally, guests can enjoy beachfront dinners perfect for large families and a gourmet picnic experience in the resort’s expansive outdoor backyard.
Al Fresco Dining
As Miami’s only restaurant completely adjacent to the beach, Costa Grill delivers delicious Mediterranean cuisine. Under elegant palms and the shade of red umbrellas Costa Grill offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean in a casual, family-friendly dining atmosphere. In collaboration with Acqualina’s culinary team and Miami-based nutritionist Staci Shacter, the menu also offers choices as part of the Acqualina Diet that are rich with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and nutrients to promote overall health. The menu can accommodate special diets such as Paleo, Keto and Vegan and includes some selections that are gluten-free, dairy-free, corn-free, soy-free, nut-free and egg-free. Costa Grill is available only for hotel guests staying at the property.
The acclaimed Il Mulino New York brings its renowned Italian fare to Acqualina Resort. Il Mulino New York is open for residents, visitors and hotel guests serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with indoor seating and al fresco dining overlooking the sea. For breakfast, Il Mulino offers an a la carte buffet breakfast on its outdoor terrace overlooking the resort’s beach club pool and the Atlantic Ocean. Beachfront Dinners
As the sun sets, Acqualina transforms into one of the most beautiful places where hotel guests can enjoy a memorable evening with their families with the under-the-stars beachfront dinners. The tone is set by melodic waves that caress the pristine white sand. Hotel guests can enjoy a beautiful dinner steps away from the glistening Atlantic Ocean as chefs create a memorable evening. Menu highlights include: ceviche, Greek salad, center cut beef tenderloin, lobster and sea bass. Reservations are required with 48 hours advanced notice. Cost is $150 per person not including beverages plus 9% tax and 20% service charge. There is a set-up fee of $95 for a party of 2, $120 for a party of 4 and $190 for a party of 6 to 8 people
Picnic in Paradise
Acqualina’s gorgeous outdoors also sets the scene for a beautiful picnic in paradise. The picnic basket, priced at $85 per person, is bursting with delicious delicacies for families including squash and orzo salad, Tuscan kale & black quinoa salad with pumpernickel croutons, Hawaiian tuna poke, and Mediterranean antipasto skewers. Hotel guests can also enjoy imported and domestic cheeses, chocolate covered strawberries, cookies and a selection of fruits. Picnic baskets must be booked at least 24 hours in advance to allow time for preparation. There is a set-up fee of $30.
Beachside Service
In its continued efforts to protect the beautiful ocean ecosystem, Acqualina has moved away from single use plastic containers and will be serving food to guests relaxing on the beach in new biodegradable (40-60 days) to-go containers made from sugarcane. Guests can also dine along the dunes with sumptuous furniture on Seashore Paspalum grass and elegantly designed with Acqualina’s signature red couches, chairs and umbrellas for the ideal outdoor experience.
Healthy and Safety Measures
All seating capacities at Acqualina’s restaurants were reduced to the 50% and six-foot distancing guidelines. All team members will be wearing masks and gloves. Electrostatic foggers will be used each day during set-up before service commences. After each guest leaves, the area will be sanitized before setting up for a new guest. Hand sanitizer stations will be available for guests and team members. Physical distancing is encouraged by standing at least six feet away.
