Acqualina Resort & Residences Introduces The Acqualina Diet for a Healthy Beach Lifestyle
Sunny Isles Beach, January 2, 2020 – The award-winning Acqualina Resort & Residences on the Beach introduces The Acqualina Diet, a foundation to a healthier lifestyle for your mind, body and soul. Guests will find a new curated menu to meet varied dietary needs and other health conscious menu choices designated as The Acqualina Diet that are rich with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and nutrients to promote overall health. Additionally, a healthy beverage menu is available with low calorie and “skinny” cocktails and low sugar/low calorie wines and sparkling wines.
“The Acqualina Diet is a state of mind on how you should feed yourself for ultimate happiness,” said Deborah Yager Fleming, CEO & Partner. “When staying at Acqualina you’ll find the essential nutrients that can keep your mind and body healthy.”
In collaboration with Acqualina’s culinary team and Miami-based nutritionist Staci Shacter, Acqualina has designed a curated menu to meet varied dietary needs. The new menu, offered for spa guests at Acqualina Spa by ESPA and hotel guests who dine at the beachfront Costa Grill restaurant, can accommodate special diets such as Paleo, Keto, Vegan and Autoimmune Protocol. The menu offers selections that are gluten-free, dairy-free, corn-free, soy-free, nut-free and egg-free.
“As a chef I enjoy creating dishes that are healthy and nutritious,” said Acqualina Head Chef Jose Casals. “The Acqualina Diet represents menu items that fundamentally support a healthy lifestyle.”
The inventive menu meets the highest quality standards and uses the freshest ingredients procured responsibly by the chef’s selection. Nutritional tips and health benefits are highlighted on the menus to enhance the wellness experience.
The new menu features Sautéed Zucchini and Squash Noodles, Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl, Burrata, Arugula, and Heirloom Tomato Salad, Cauliflower Pizza, Greek Salad, Charred Atlantic Salmon on a bed of kale and quinoa salad and Mediterranean Style Rice Cauliflower with Shitake Mushrooms. Other menu items will be available on Acqualina’s breakfast menus and Meetings + Banquet menus for groups.
