Acqualina Resort Earns 18th Consecutive AAA Five Diamond Award

Reinforcing its standing among an elite group of dual Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond Properties.

MIAMI, July 12, 2026 – For the 18th consecutive year, Acqualina Resort & Residences on the Beach has been awarded the prestigious American Automobile Association’s (AAA) Five Diamond award. The oceanfront resort is the only hotel in Sunny Isles and one of three hotels in Miami to earn the hospitality industry’s distinguished award for quality and service. The distinction places Acqualina among a select group of properties nationwide to hold both the AAA Five Diamond Award and the Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Award.

“To be recognized as a Five Diamond property for eighteen consecutive years—alongside our Forbes Five Star distinction—speaks to a level of consistency our team works every day to protect,” said Deborah Yager Fleming, CEO and partner of Acqualina.

To earn the AAA Five Diamond designation, hotels must pass a rigorous evaluation that includes unannounced, in-person inspections, anonymous overnight stays for hotels and a review by a panel of experts. All AAA Diamond Program hotels are re-evaluated annually to ensure they provide the best experience for travelers and diners. This ranks Acqualina Resort among fewer than 1 percent of the more than 23,000 AAA-inspected properties.
