Miami, FL (November 18, 2025) – Stephanie, Jules, and Eddie Trump of Acqualina Resort & Residences proudly hosted the 30th Annual “I Have a Dream” Foundation Miami Gala on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort. The milestone event raised an impressive $800,000 in support of the Miami Dreamers — the class of 2032, now in the 6th grade. Founded by the Trump family in 1995, the Miami-Dade chapter continues to serve as a beacon of hope and opportunity for children in underserved communities.
South Florida’s philanthropic community gathered alongside the Dreamers for an evening defined by heartfelt moments, generosity, and celebration. Guests enjoyed an impressive silent auction showcasing more than 50 exceptional prizes, including luxurious stays at world-renowned destinations such as Rosewood Baha Mar, The Greenwich Hotel in New York, Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic, and The Surrey New York. Additional highlights included distinguished restaurant and spa experiences, round-trip JetBlue airfare, coveted Orange Bowl tickets, and a Miami Heat Honorary Guest Ball Attendant Experience.
Auctioneer Jay Rokeach led the live auction presenting three extraordinary travel packages: an Italian holiday with stays at Forte Village Resort in Pula, Hotel Santa Caterina in Amalfi, Villa Treville in Positano, and Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria in Sorrento; a South African journey including Victoria Falls River Lodge in Zimbabwe, Jabulani Safari Lodge in Hoedspruit, Saxon Hotel Villas and Spa in Johannesburg, Zulu Camp in the Shambala Private Game Reserve, and Cape Grace Hotel in Cape Town; and a trip through Spain featuring hotel stays at Marbella Club Hotel in Málaga, Puente Romano Hotel in Marbella, Majestic Hotel & Spa in Barcelona, and Gran Hotel Inglés in Madrid.
The evening opened with a lively conversation between Dreamer alum Badr Mehdad, a 2020 graduate, and Project Director Nicole Taylor. Mehdad shared the transformative impact of the program and his commitment to remaining a Dreamer for life. Guests were then welcomed by founder Stephanie Trump, whose inspiring remarks honored the enduring leadership of longtime Executive Director Jonas Severe and Project Director Nicole Taylor, recognizing their vital contributions to the Foundation’s success. A joyful performance by the Dreamers of the class of 2032 lit up the room and captivated the audience.
The Gala concluded with a spectacular stage production featuring a dynamic blend of music, dance, and an aerial performance, highlighted by a special appearance from the electronic violinist group Spinphony. Their electrifying performance provided a beautiful and memorable finale.
All funds raised will directly support the “I Have a Dream” Foundation Miami Dreamers, providing long-term academic enrichment, leadership development, and essential resources to help each child realize their full potential. The program guarantees academic tuition for a four-year degree at a Florida state university or an accredited trade school, offering Dreamers a pathway toward a bright and empowered future.

About I Have a Dream Foundation
The Miami chapter of the “I Have a Dream” Foundation was founded by the Trump Family in 1995. The Foundation adopted the entire second grade class (97 Dreamers) at the Charles R. Drew School in Liberty City. 95 Dreamers reached the 12th grade, 83 of them graduated in 2005 on time and 54 graduated from college. In August 2007, the “I Have a Dream” Foundation adopted a new class of Dreamers at Hibiscus Elementary School in Miami, the class of 2020. Out of 107 Dreamers, 96 graduated on time and five graduated in 2021. As a result, 86 Dreamers are now enrolled in post-secondary education. While only 50% of students in low-income communities are expected to finish high school, and only one out of seven will graduate from college, our Dreamers have gone on to become teachers, social workers, secretaries, scholar-athletes, lawyers, and more.
The “I Have a Dream” Foundation Miami Chapter supports 63 Dreamers who will become the graduating class of 2032. These young children will be offered the same opportunities as the classes of 2005 and 2020.
